Dok is an amazing Dr with alot of character. He genuinely wants to help people anyway he can and doesnt try to pad his pocket before he will see a patient. He charges so much less than what a doctor of his caliber could. If you become his patient count yourself lucky! He is very intelligent and has lots of commendations.
Now, the majority of their staff are unprofessional the the very HIGHEST. I am so sick of seeing posts all over Facebook knocking his practice, for the simple fact that I know he is an amazing doctor and I wouldn't trust my kids in the hands of anyone else like I do him.

I've been seeing Dr.Carter for over a year, yeah some of the people working behind the desk can be rude, but there's also a officer manager you can call and she does her best to help,Dr.Carter has the best bedside manor of any Dr I've ever seen,At one time I was looking at losing my Insurance, I've been there so long seeing his previous partner and switching to Dr.Carter,I'd gladly pay out of pocket to see him,he listens to you, wants to know how things are going even if its personal,I just was in his office Wednesday, he went back over my blood work even though his nurse had called with everything fine,he remembered our conversation from 3 months ago and asked were things better,no he definitely not a pill pusher and I like that,my 15 year old also sees him and she loves him as much as she did her pediatrician. I am so lucky to have been able to stay with him and the most I've ever waited to see him is 45 minutes, I dont complain because when he walks in to see me,he's not rushing out
Rachel was asked to come in today. We drove the 30+ minutes there and sat in the waiting room. They then walked a lady with them from the back that I was told I was transferred to (in front of everyone by the way), and confronted me as if I made up talking to her. Turns out it wasn't her but they don't know who it was. They then tell me they're slam booked but will try to squeeze us in sometime today. They come back and tell me that it'll be a wait since I didn't have an appointment but they'll get us in at some point. I then approach the desk and tell them I don't appreciate the way it was handled so I'll be leaving and going elsewhere... To which they respond, "We're not even having a busy day, it won't be long until you're seen!". Wait. You're slam booked or not busy now that I'm irate?? I'm confused. God help my soul to hold onto Dr Carter until he gets his office staff under control. Sometimes I wonder if he even knows how much we ALL hate dealing with them. Jumping through the loops of Hell and finally seeing his face is the only Saving Grace in the entire situation. I am mad!!!!!!
I am fed up with this staff. Now I'm making my own post. You ladies have a JOB. You are paid to do that job. When we call... Answer the phone for one. When we call twelve times and you finally answer, do it without an attitude (we didn't ask for our kids to be sick and if someone calling to make an appointment irritates your soul that deeply, you're in the wrong profession). When we call and our baby is sick, if you tell us to come right in so you can help us... COMMUNICATION IS KEY. The front desk should immediately be expecting us, not confused and interrogating us as if we made up that we spoke to someone and are about to get busted. If we need something faxed and you say, I'm doing that right NOW. Don't do it next week after we call asking what's taking so long and you again need to know who we spoke to. WE DONT KNOW. Do your job and do it with a smile on your face. I'm a server. People irritate me beyond belief but they leave there without the slightest clue that I'm annoyed. Find a job you're passionate about. If Dr Carter's practice pains you that much, don't let the door hit you bc I know several qualified people that would love to take your place.
I'll start by saying I LOVE Dr. Carter and Jeremy.
I have been a patient of Dr. Cartery for many years. I never dread going to the Doctor, because he treats me like a caring friend! If I could hang out with him outside of the office I probably would! I value his opinion, and trust his knowledge. SUPERB DOCTOR! !
Dr.Carter and his staff are the best,he treats you as though you are his only patient,he listens to all your concerns and definitely isn't one for pushing pills and doesnt over book his patients.
